Hi Bloglanders
Happy weekend to you all! Down under in Sunny SA we have a long weekend. I'm at the beach house visiting my sick mum and Wynand is making wine.
Today I joined him at the winery's restaurant. 2015 West Coast Sauvignon Blanc with a seafood pizza with LOTS of seafood!
Hop over to my Instagram feed to the right of my blog to see the pic. I'll be back at Hamman HQ to do a proper craft post just 4 U. In the meantime - have fun and craft on!

Sunday Summery Week ???
Hello Bloglanders
And I finally lost track of the weeks!! I think I skipped some Sunday Summaries as I went to see my mum for three consecutive weeks. If you keep in mind that she lives about 4 hours drive away from me, it's no wonder I lost a few weeks.
I received beautiful flowers.
And I cooked breakfast.
I call them oven omelets. Line a silicone muffin pan with thinly sliced ham. Add everything you like. Top with beaten eggs and seasoning. Bake until brown and puffy. Easy Peasy!!
Pieter and his Princess moved into their very first own home and I had to do the curtains - 45 metres of black velvet. I'm not saying anything else!! Lucky me - my neighbour's cat is keeping me company.
As we stayed at the beach house while visiting my mum and had wonderful evenings on the "stoep" (=porch) with beautiful scenery, cold West Coast Sauvignon Blanc and a braai. (=barbeque)
The sea, the moon - I just love this picture!!
I'm a HUGE fan of Wilna Fursternberg. Last week she did her first art journaling page - YES, her first ever!! She is a wonderful artist and as I had some time on hand, I decided to join in the fun. Of course mine is nothing compared to her work of art but I had a ball and enjoyed her video immensely. I even showed it to my mum on the iPad - she could not believe what you can see and hear via technology.
Here is my page:
You can watch Wilna's video here. Of course I'll be adding some journaling but I thought I'd keep that private.
I received these cat post it notes a few weeks ago and as I'm a HUGE cat lover, I made a home-made planner ruler from recycled packaging material and added the kitty cats to my planner. They do make me smile.
On the left is a quote from Amy Tangerine. I've printed them x4 and they are all over my desk, planner and files. It does help to remind myself that I should do something purposeful every day.
And our Princess had a birthday!! I do love her and the boys to bits.
And now for the winner of the Craft Storage Ideas Blog Hop prize that I offered on Play as U GO.
Here it is:
That's it from me!! I'm off to get some more crafting done. Have a wonderful week and thanks for looking at my blog today.

Sunday Summery Week 10/2015
Hi there Bloglanders
Another week went by and I had heaps of crafting fun. My mum is very sick so I went to the beach house to be with her for a few days. I hate her being so sick but I had a lovely time at the coast. It was full moon and worth the 800 kilometre drive!
I did another one of the Amy Tangerine handbook exercises - #2:
You should really try it. One of her ideas is to sit down and doodle, scribble, journal and paint for 10 minutes every day. I have tried it for the past 2 weeks and you wouldn't believe the increase in creativeness! Here is a page from my planner.
I printed some of Wilna Furstenberg's images and had a go at painting and colouring them.
And I went to my friend's birthday brunch. I did the home made muesli from a recipe I inherited from my mother-in-law. I totally loved how it turned out and would sit down and eat it out of the jar with a spoon - the whole lot. The muesli is in the first picture, in the second one you can see the beautiful fruity ice cubes and on the right the ice cream Cassata that we had for dessert.
And not only did I make the muesli - I tried my hand at "no carb bread"! This version turned out very nice and it actually looks and tastes like bread - still a bit "eggy" for my liking but that's just because I'm not big on eggs.
And when I packed my stuff for the West Coast this was my colour scheme:
I just love it!! Still summery but also a bit of punch and class.
I still have things to show but this post is getting longer than anticipated so I'll just have to fill you in at some other time. Watch this space and all will be revealed! I'm off to have a glass of cold white wine outside. What's not to love about summer down under in Sunny SA?
Thanks for visiting my blog today. Please come back to play and remember to try something new - TODAY!!

Sunday Summary Week 35
Hello Bloglanders
It's still hectic @ HQ Hamman. I have returned all the hired items from the wedding, collected all that was mine, delivered all that was not and started making lists for next week. My Project Life is SO behind schedule but I'm just going to skip July and continue with August ASAP. Talking about August - it has been a weird month and I'm planning to do a layout about it right now. Tell you more about it once it's done.
Back to the wedding. Ever thought of putting a "cut your own lemons station" at the bar??? My daughter in law thought about EVERYTHING!! While I have this pic up, note that ALL the flowers were in different containers. The one with the gold glitter is a recycled jar zussed up with podge, glitter and some clever thinking by the Princess.
I've been asked by friends to do 3 matric farewell dresses for their beautiful daughters. Two have been cut, the thread on my sewing machines changed and I'll start first thing tomorrow morning. Want to see the inspiration?
I will keep you updated on my progress.Know you don't like my sewing projects but it is such a big part of my life that you will just have to bear with me.
At the beginning of 2014 I decided to write down 50 facts about myself. The idea came from a mini book that Monika Wright did but as I try to incorporate everything in my PL album, I ended up using 6x4 journaling cards and adding it to my 2014 album. I've got it done and filed and plan to pretty it up when I've got time.
Right now I'm pleased with my progress and plan to do another project - "My Life in 50 Pics" . I've chosen 50 pictures and will be journaling about what I can remember of each event. The pictures have been sorted - I'll have them printed this week and you will soon have a progress report. Once again, it will be part of my PL album.
I've also registered for this class. I love Big Picture Classes and love, love, love Wilna Fursterberg. Special belated birthday pressy to myself. Once we start, you will hear more about it right here.
And I had a few days at my fave place in the world - the beach house @ the West Coast. It is beautiful year to see wildflowers and even our backyard has it's share. Here you can see a layout I did on the flowers of Namakwaland.
And I needed another pressie!! Fortunately I did cut some extra "cake boxes" and filed them away flat to be folded as required.
I'll tell you more about this one later this week and show what's inside. Just keep checking back and all will be revealed.
That's it. Another wonderful week. Thanks for visiting my blog today and remember to try something new - TODAY!!

Sunday Summery Week 28
Good Sunday to you all
Last week I started to show the small things that I've done as they normally do not get counted or blogged about. So, without further ado, here is last week's batch:
I joined Wynand on a trip to the West Coast and had 3 wonderful days at the beach house:
We don't have Internet and email there (and I forgot my camera at home) so I had to rely on my iPhone to do the necessary. My pictures are not perfect but they are good enough to be printed 4x3 for my PL album.
I kept busy with some painting and even finished a layout and a Multimedia page. One of the butterflies even hopped onto my diary:
I had a little friend over for cake, coffee and crafting. In the end we had cake at a new coffee shop in town:
And afterwards we did some painting at HQ Hamman. And this is Alexa's effort:

From my diary page you can also see that I had an appointment with the jeweller - to commission fiancee #1's wedding ring and an engagement ring for son #2. YES!!!! We will be having another wedding!! Wernich had a week's vacation from university and it was wonderful to have him home. It meant more cooking, cleaning and helping out as he is working on his final master's degree thesis and is sitting in front of his computer 24/7.

She painted on canvas and I did mine on watercolor paper. The butterfly die cut came from Wilna Fursterberg's shop as well as the original idea (sort of). I will post my version later this week when I've added my photos.
Back to wedding #1. I'm working on 100 cream napkins. No easy way out here - I'm adding artwork with some iron-on flocked vinyl. It looks beautiful - like black velvet printed on heavy cream cotton. 5 Down - 95 to go:
You see - doesn't look like much but once you start counting, it's a LOT. Thanks for looking at week 28 with me.
PS. Remember to try something new this week!!
