Sorry for not posting earlier but I have a house full of guests and have been making beds and preparing food since early this morning. Always nice to have family and friends over and also to visit them. Whenever I have to produce an hostess gift, I love to give something green. For the past few months herbs have been the flavor of the month in my house. Also, we have the most beautiful orchids in the shops right now. So, this is what I got (x3) to give away within the next 2 weeks:
Actually, it's the colors of The Play Date Cafe and this will be my contribution for this week's challenge. This is the inspiration:

I had some more of the paper left and made another cover for a potted herb that I'll be giving as a housewarming pressie:
Even the card was made out of the recycled wrapping paper. (thanks Marelize, I love it!)
Just a tip. If you want to use a scalloped edge like I did, cut slits into the straight edge and it will bend around the curve to you cover easily.
Oh, and if you want to use a kebab stick just cut a slit into the flat end and slip the card in.
That's it from me. Back to making beds and preparing food. Have a great day and please come back to play.
Super fun altered project. Love the little envelope too. Thanks for playing at The Play Date Cafe!
